Time to Start peppers

Begin preparing now to pick a peck of pretty peppers.  Most of the fruits in the Capsicum annum genus start out as green, but with enough time change to red, orange yellow, violet/purple, and even striped variations of different colors.  In order to achieve colors other than green, seeds must be started now so when they go into the garden, they have time to reach full maturity.
