A Fond Memory of Garden Installation Day

by Rebecca.

As I look outside and see all the snow I know that spring is coming soon.  With spring will come planting day.  Last year our winter lasted until May - I was looking through the pictures and the videos last year and realized that the installation day was in May.  Hopefully spring will come a little sooner this year :).

I found this video that I took of installation day and wanted to share it with you.  I had met Joan before when she came out to give us an estimate - but this was the first time I met her crew.  It was like Christmas (except there wasn't any snow, thank God).  They drove up in their truck and they brought out the garden beds, dirt, compost, irrigation supplies, trellises.  I remember thinking how happy I was that we hired them because there is no way on God's green earth that I would be able to do this.  I would have given up at trying to figure out what dirt to buy.  It was so magical.  They came and then everything was built.  The kids had a blast (and so did I) getting involved and mixing the dirt.  Joan explained what we were doing every step of the way.  It was wonderful.
